Thanks to the revolutionary feature we call "AutoMagic", Version 5 of Total Eclipse makes it easier than ever to edit from the steno keyboard. Keith is going to show you just how easy it can be. He's also going to include a mini preview of how he uses the "Split Keys" steno keyboard layout (two initial S keys and two asterisk keys). The Passport and Infinity writers offer the extended keyboard options that make this possible, and the next version of Eclipse will support this feature. Extra keys, extra steno possibilities, extra fun.

Join us for our Fall Webinar Series, a four-part suite covering how to edit from the writer and previewing what's coming in soon-to-be released Eclipse 5.1. Keith Vincent will cover editing from the writer in two parts, held on September 12th and October 9th.  Michael Starkman and Jeremy Thorne will present the final two parts on November 1st and November 14th. Sign up today for this informative series presented by a talented and well-versed group of speakers. Learn from the comfort of your home and earn up to .8 CEUs. If you register for all four webinars, we'll also take 15% off the single-webinar price, a $30 savings.

We often receive suggestions for Eclipse Webinars, and one of topics most often requested is how to edit from the steno keyboard during realtime translation. This is actually a topic Keith has presented in the past on earlier versions of Eclipse as he has described how to use the Eclipse Realtime Editing Kit. The good news is that Version 5 of Total Eclipse, thanks to the revolutionary feature we call "AutoMagic", makes it easier than ever to edit from writer -- hence our title, "Editing from the Steno Keyboard with Total Eclipse 5".

When you edit from the steno keyboard, you're actually using macro commands.  This is a topic Michael Starkman covered in Part 3 of our Suite Deal webinar series and we are making that webinar available again for those of you who missed it and would like to purchase the recording. Keith's emphasis will be on how to create macros for use from the steno keyboard, or, if you're a voicewriter, how to assign voice commands to these macros.  When you install Eclipse, you're automatically given a set of several hundred macros.  Most of them were created by Keith and many of them are part of his recently revised and updated Realtime Editing Kit.

Here are some of the topics that will be covered in these info-packed webinars:

- How to create macros for realtime editing

- How to assign steno or voisteno to Eclipse macros

- Macros that move your cursor

- Macros that select AutoMagic choices

- Easy realtime globals with AutoMagic

- Macros that request an Auto-Brief

Since Total Eclipse 5.1 will be released in the coming months, Keith will also include a mini preview of how he uses the Passport's "Split Keys" steno keyboard layout (two initial S keys and two asterisk keys).  Supported on the Passport and the Infinity writers, this powerful feature extends the steno key set from 22 to 26 keys and the possibilities literally abound. This is the first presentation in a four-webinar autumn suite. Parts 1 and 2 will cover editing from the writer, while Parts 3 and 4 will be a more detailed preview of Total Eclipse 5.1, which will begin with Michael Starkman on November 1 and conclude with Jeremy Thorne on November 14. We hope you'll join us for the entire suite, which offers a total of 8 hours of continuing education credit.  Those who purchase the entire suite will get 15% off the regular price, a $30 savings. Plus, you can submit one CEU form for the entire suite.
